Before signup: region, domain and email

This code is for the OKX exchange relationship. Even if the same characters appear on another exchange, benefits and account attribution are not shared across platforms.

Web and app: keep the code through the flow

Open the official OKX link and check the optional referral field for WLFI47. If no field appears, revisit the invitation link through OKX’s directions. A click before downloading the app does not establish the final account relationship.

OKX explains that earlier ad attribution, web-to-app transitions or browser state can affect the code. Follow its email-binding instructions if offered, and check the same email and referral status before submitting signup.

Step by step: region, email, code, phone and password

OKX’s registration guide runs: Sign up → choose your country/region and accept the Terms, Risk and Compliance Disclosure and Privacy Notice → enter your email and open the optional referral field to check WLFI47 → enter the email code → add your phone number with country code → enter the SMS code → set a password. Each 6-digit code is valid for 10 minutes.

Both email and phone must be linked, and each can register only one OKX account. Passwords need 8–32 characters with a number, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a special character. OKX’s referral FAQ says the code must be entered before signup is complete and generally cannot be added or changed afterwards, and deleting the account does not reset it.

Identity verification and rejection fixes

You must be 18 or older, and you cannot deposit, withdraw, trade or transfer until identity verification is complete. Use an original, valid government ID plus a live face check; photocopies and screenshots are rejected. Proof of address, when requested, must be dated within the last 3 months.

Common rejection reasons OKX lists: face does not match the ID, the ID was already used on another account, expired or unsupported documents, blurry or cropped photos, edited images, non-Latin script (use an international passport) and unsupported locations. The reason is emailed to you; fix it and resubmit. After too many face-check attempts, wait 30 minutes.

Restricted locations, deposits, P2P and security

OKX’s Risk and Compliance Disclosure currently lists Canada, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, certain US jurisdictions and others as restricted, with service limits in places such as the UK and South Korea. Check the live list and your local law before opening an account.

For on-chain deposits the coin and network must match on both platforms, tag/memo coins such as XRP need both address and tag, and amounts below the page minimum are not credited. In P2P, OKX holds the seller’s crypto until payment is confirmed and charges no P2P fee; the payer’s name must match the counterparty. Enable an authenticator app, a passkey, an anti-phishing code and the withdrawal allowlist; changing your authenticator or phone blocks withdrawals and P2P for 24 hours.

Codes not arriving and base fees

Allowlist OKX’s sender addresses ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]), check spam and wait 10 minutes before resending. After a send failure, wait about 1 hour for email or 2 hours for SMS. Six wrong entries lock the code.

Under the global fee framework effective 25 November 2025, Regular users pay 0.08% maker / 0.10% taker on spot and 0.02% / 0.05% on futures. Your logged-in fee page is the final reference.

After signup: distinguish tasks from fee benefits

Inspect the invitation relationship, new-user tasks, reward history and fee tier separately in your OKX account. Eligibility, expiry and regional terms can change.

OKX says a code cannot be added after registration under its referral FAQ. Do not repeatedly close and reopen accounts to change it. Estimate costs using your maker/taker tier and count only confirmed benefits.
