Bybit Signup Guide 2026: Referral Code, KYC & Futures
How to register on Bybit: check code 8DXZXGZ, verify email or phone, complete account checks, fund safely, and distinguish Affiliate from ordinary referral rules.

Before signup: account method and code
Check the bybit.com domain and use an email or phone number you control. Web, app and third-party login flows can differ. If the flow opens the app, confirm that 8DXZXGZ is still shown before creating the account.
Enter verification messages only on Bybit’s official page. Clicking an invitation link does not prove that the account was attributed or that a fee benefit applies; review the account and promotion terms after signup.
Signup steps and the restricted-country list
Bybit’s steps: Sign Up → choose your country of residence → email, phone, Google, Apple or Telegram → enter a referral or affiliate code such as 8DXZXGZ before clicking “Sign Up Now” → captcha and email/SMS code → set a password. Bybit says that once the account is created you can’t add, modify or delete the referral/affiliate code (the narrow 14-day Affiliate exception is covered below). Email is recommended because withdrawals require email plus Google Authenticator.
Bybit’s Service-Restricted Countries page lists the United States, Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Syria and occupied regions of Ukraine. KYC restrictions follow nationality, not just residence. Do not register from a restricted location or with someone else’s identity.
Existing account: Affiliate code versus ordinary referral
Bybit says eligible main accounts with no existing referrer may request to add an Affiliate invitation code within 14 days of registration. Its ordinary user Referral Program codes are excluded, and account type and region restrictions apply.
Look for the Join an Affiliate’s Community option in Account Info and read the current terms. If that option is absent or the window has passed, contact official Bybit support. We cannot alter your attribution or promise a rebate.
KYC levels, review time and rejection fixes
Individual KYC has three levels: Standard (identity assessment, ID and face scan), Advanced (proof of address) and Pro (enhanced due diligence). Bybit’s level table shows most deposit and trading features unavailable without Standard; daily crypto withdrawal limits are 1M USDT for Standard and 2M USDT for Advanced/Pro.
Review is usually about 15 minutes and up to 48 hours for complex cases. Use physical documents, show all four corners without glare, and do not upload screenshots or edited images. Proof of address must be dated within 3 months; phone bills and insurance letters are not accepted. More than 5 denials in 24 hours means a 24-hour wait.
Deposits, P2P without escrow, and security
Deposits land in the Funding Account by default. Coins such as XRP, EOS and TON need a memo/tag, and a missing or wrong tag may lose the funds. Bybit’s P2P safety page states that Bybit does not hold or escrow any fiat or crypto for users: release crypto only after the money is in your own account, never accept third-party payments, and do not cancel after paying.
Bybit’s security checklist covers Google 2FA, a fund password, passkeys, secure transaction approval, an anti-phishing code, trusted devices and a new-address withdrawal lock. Resetting the fund password, removing a passkey or disabling the address lock restricts withdrawals for 24 hours.
Codes not arriving and VIP 0 fees
Check spam, allowlist Bybit’s official senders, check Apple Hide My Email forwarding, and wait 15 minutes after too many requests. For SMS, check a full inbox, signal, security apps and carrier blocks.
Bybit’s fee page lists VIP 0 spot (crypto pairs) at 0.1% maker and taker, and perpetual/futures at 0.02% maker and 0.055% taker. Fiat pairs and special zones cost more, and rates may vary by region; check My Fee Rate after KYC.
How to verify a Bybit referral benefit
Review attribution, campaign tasks and your fee tier separately in your official Bybit account. A code shown before submission does not establish the reward instrument or invitee rate; check eligible products and credited records.
For futures, add maker/taker fees, funding, spread and slippage. Do not increase leverage or trading volume solely to chase a beginner task; compare Binance and OKX with Bybit using the same trade assumptions through the related links below.
Signup questions
Are Bybit new-user tasks and Affiliate fee benefits identical?
No. Task rewards have campaign and account requirements; check any invitee fee benefit separately in the official account. An inviter commission is not your discount.
What if the Bybit code is missing at signup?
Pause before submitting. Check the bybit.com domain and invitation route, then inspect the final form after any app or third-party login handoff. Ask official support if another channel appears.

Can I add a Bybit code after signup?
