Every number should answer three questions: where it came from, how it was calculated and how fresh it is.

Every number should answer three questions: where it came from, how it was calculated and how fresh it is. We prefer official or first-party sources and label estimates, proxies and simulations when direct observation is not available.

What kind of number are you looking at?

  • Observed data: read from public market, blockchain-node, exchange or protocol sources with source and time retained.
  • Site-derived calculation: deterministically computed from disclosed public inputs, such as returns, moving averages, fees or risk metrics.
  • Estimate or proxy: clearly labeled assumptions, public proxies or approximations are used when the underlying value is not directly observable, with limitations disclosed.
  • Simulation: backtests and scenarios depend on historical samples, parameters, fees and slippage assumptions and do not represent future performance.
  • Editorial interpretation: comparisons, scores and explanations are labeled separately from source facts and are not official certifications or investment advice.

Prefer official regulators/tax authorities and official exchange/protocol fee and product documentation. Fees, referral benefits, identity checks, product availability, regional service and tax rules are high-volatility facts. Without explicit official evidence, scope and a review date, do not present them as best/lowest/highest/safest/fastest, identity-check-free, permanent or guaranteed. Verify the official account, product, regional and regulator/tax pages before acting.

How often is it reviewed, and what happens if something is wrong?

Research pages use topic-specific suggested review windows. Commercial relationships do not change source hierarchy or methodological conclusions. Confirmed errors go through the public correction workflow, and pages are never auto-merged, deleted or recanonicalized for search ranking.
