Bitget Signup Guide 2026: Code, KYC & Copy Trading

Check the bitget.com domain. Bitget’s website guide walks through email or mobile, an optional referral field, terms, password, captcha and a verification code. The live screen and regional rules control the exact sequence.

If you choose Google, Telegram or wallet signup, inspect the final form for zi73. Do not assume that a prior link click carried attribution into a different signup method.

App, identity verification and security

Install the app via an official Bitget channel and check the code again if you switch from web to app. For a missing verification message, check your address, number and junk folder; never forward the code to an agent.

Creating an account is different from completing KYC. Check requirements in your own account, submit your own documents and enable two-factor security. Features and review requirements vary by region and product.

Exact web steps and whether a code can be added later

Choose email or phone (one at signup, link the other later), check zi73 in the “Enter a referral code (optional)” field on the same first form, accept the terms and click Next. Then set an 8–32 character password with a number, an uppercase letter and a special character, solve the puzzle and enter the 6-digit code.

Bitget publishes no way to add or change a code after signup, and its referral guide says only newly registered users qualify. Third-party claims about adding a code later are unconfirmed, so enter it during registration.

KYC, restricted countries and deposits

Since September 2023 new users must complete Level 1 verification; unverified accounts cannot deposit, trade or withdraw. You must be 18+, one person may verify one account, and you get 5 attempts per 24 hours. Review is usually within an hour. Rejections come from mismatched details, blurry or cropped photos, one-sided or expired IDs, failed face checks, restricted locations or an ID already used.

Bitget’s Terms list the US, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, France, Germany and sanctioned regions as prohibited. Deposits are fee-free apart from network fees, the network must match the sending wallet, and missing memos need a manual recovery of about 10 business days that is not guaranteed. P2P trades are escrowed and fee-free outside the NGN market; never release crypto on a screenshot.

Security, base fees and copy-trading rules

Bitget recommends an authenticator or passkey over SMS, a fund code, an anti-phishing code, a withdrawal whitelist and the default 1-minute withdrawal-cancel window. Changing the login password or fund code suspends withdrawals for 24 hours.

Regular fees are 0.1% maker and taker on spot and 0.02% / 0.06% on futures, with an optional BGB spot offset. New futures copy trading needs at least 50 USDT, allows up to 10 traders, uses a high-water-mark profit share (currently capped at 10% for elite traders) and can still lose the whole balance.

Funding and copy trading: count the full cost

Use only funding methods available in your account; verify the asset and network for crypto deposits. Compare maker/taker fees, spread, withdrawal costs and any funding payment separately.

Before copying a trader, examine strategy, leverage, maximum drawdown, copy fees and exit controls. Past results do not determine your next trade; an invitation benefit is not a risk hedge.

Follow the official signup and product availability shown for your location. A referral code does not override regional limits; compare fees only for products you can actually use.

Is a Bitget referral code required?

Bitget’s web registration guide calls the referral field optional. To use this site’s invitation, check that zi73 appears before you submit.

What if my Bitget verification code never arrives?

Check the address, number, country code and junk folder, then follow official retry or support options. Do not share the message with anyone.

Are referral rebates the same as copy-trading profits?

No. Account benefits depend on program terms; copy trading has its own fees and loss risk. Check them separately.

Can I add a Bitget referral code after registering?

Bitget publishes no official way to do so. Confirm zi73 in the optional field on the first signup form before continuing.

Can I trade on Bitget without KYC?
