Bitcoin Rainbow Chart Zones Explained: Prices, Bands and Proper Use
CryptoRebateHub Editorial Team
How the nine dynamic bands are priced, how to inspect any date and why the chart is only a long-term valuation reference.
The most common rainbow-chart question is: “What price is each color band today?” The answer is not a fixed table because every boundary changes over time. The site’s full-screen rainbow chart now shows the lower, midpoint and upper price of all nine zones for any selected date.
The bands are a dynamic valuation corridor
The chart places Bitcoin’s long-run price trend on a logarithmic scale and applies multiple bands from undervaluation to high risk. Every boundary moves with the date, so “what price is the red band?” is meaningless without a date.
How to inspect zone prices
Move the pointer or drag on mobile. The inspector shows BTC close plus the lower, midpoint and upper value of each band. Click to lock a date, use arrow keys to step day by day, and switch 1Y, 3Y, 5Y, 10Y or all history. Export CSV or copy the parameterized view for verification.
Correct interpretation
Identify the current band, then measure distance to adjacent boundaries. A low band does not guarantee an immediate reversal; a high-risk band does not call the exact top. It answers long-term valuation position, not short-term timing.
What to pair with it
Use the cycle dashboard to see whether other valuation and momentum evidence agrees, then the position-size calculator to convert the thesis into a risk limit. The chart is most useful for preventing identical behavior in very different valuation zones.
