How to Test Your First Crypto Deposit and Withdrawal

Use matching assets and networks, address checks and a small test while understanding memos, tags and confirmations.

Asset and Network Must Both Match

The asset and network shown on the receiving page must exactly match the sending page. USDT can exist on ERC20, TRC20, BEP20 and other networks; similar-looking addresses do not prove compatibility. Confirm receiver support before choosing the cheapest network.

Check Address, Memo and Amount

After copying, compare the first and last characters to detect clipboard replacement. Assets such as XRP or XLM may require a memo or tag. Check minimum deposits, withdrawal fees and the expected amount received.

Test Small Before Scaling

For a new address, first send a small amount above the minimum deposit. Wait until it is credited and usable, then use the verified allowlisted address for the remainder. Avoid first-time cross-chain transfers while rushed or during congestion.
