Live ETH price, staking APR, gas fees and network metrics.

How to use the Ethereum overview

This page combines ETH’s live price, on-chain gas fees, perpetual funding rates and price history, with links to gas, impermanent-loss, slippage and staking-yield calculators. Use it to check costs before you transfer, trade or use DeFi.

Key points

Data and limits

Gas data comes from an Ethereum node the site reads, and funding rates from public exchange endpoints. Staking totals and yields shown as network statistics are reference values that change with the network; check live sources such as beaconcha.in.

Common questions

When during the day is gas cheapest?

Gas depends on block demand and is lower when demand is low, but there is no fixed cheapest hour; sharp market moves, popular mints or airdrops break the pattern. Check the current base fee on this page before you act.

Why do I still pay gas when a transaction fails?

Validators still executed the computation, so gas consumed before the failure is not refunded. Too-tight slippage, insufficient balance or unmet contract conditions cause failures; check the wallet’s simulation before you submit.
