How to read the Bitcoin Mempool & Fee Market Dashboard
This dashboard shows the size of Bitcoin’s pending-transaction pool and estimated fee rates (sat/vB) for several confirmation targets, so you can judge congestion before sending. Data comes from a Bitcoin Core node when one is configured, with a public fallback source.
How to read the result
- A wide gap between the 1-block and 24-block rates means urgency is expensive.
- Rising vMB with rising fees signals more competition for block space.
- If you are not in a hurry, a lower target with RBF lets you bump the fee later.
Limits and cautions
- Fee estimates do not guarantee confirmation within the target.
- Fees can change quickly between checking and broadcasting.
- Your actual fee depends on your transaction’s real virtual size.
