What is the Bitcoin Halving Countdown?

The Halving Countdown projects the next Bitcoin halving from the live block height. Every 210,000 blocks (~4 years) the block reward halves — the core of Bitcoin's supply discipline. The current reward is 3.125 BTC, dropping to 1.5625 next.

How do I use the Bitcoin Halving Countdown?

All three past halvings preceded cycle peaks by 12–18 months, which is why the halving narrative is partly priced in. The rational frame: treat it as a slow supply-side variable, weighed against demand-side forces like ETFs — not a script that must repeat.

What should I watch out for?

The countdown assumes average block times, so the actual date drifts by days with hashrate; and as existing supply dominates, each halving's marginal impact on new issuance shrinks.
