How to use the daily archive

The archive stores a daily market snapshot by year and month—Bitcoin’s price, daily change and dominance—with a page for every day. The top bar shows the latest date, the consecutive-day streak and any gaps in the last 14 days.

Key points

Data and limits

Snapshots are stored by UTC date, recorded continuously since June 2026. Individual day pages are kept out of the search index to avoid many near-identical pages.

Common questions

Why are some dates missing?

A gap appears when that day’s collection failed; the top bar lists gaps in the last 14 days. Saved dates are not rewritten afterwards.

Why aren’t the individual day pages indexed?

Daily pages are nearly identical in structure, so indexing them all would create duplicate content. They are set to noindex while the archive hub stays indexable.
